Everyone owes a great debt to those men and women who began natural healing. They did the original work in their own way of observation and testing to locate those herbs they needed to save the lives of their tribal family.   All natural healers, even modern medicine, are standing on the shoulders of those courageous individuals, and untold thousands owe their lives to them.     Continue Reading »

Have You Been Conned By the Cholesterol Deception

Published by under Diet,Health

America has been saturated by ingenious pharmaceutical ads for years that are designed to delude us into believing a total lie; a lie that has absolutely no truth to it; a lie which has killed and destroyed numerous innocent Americans.  Americans who put their trust in what the media said, through ads and news stories, in the name of modern medical science. I myself bought into this lie until I learned the truth.  The lie, my friends, is that high cholesterol is dangerous and must be lowered.  This lie has been put in front of your eyes, and spoken into your ears so many times with no filter of truth.  How could you do anything else but believe what you were told.

The Aspirin Lie

Published by under Ailments,Experiences,Health

Here is my direct experience with “THE ASPIRIN LIE.”  I had been working with a middle-aged man who was not ill he just wanted to get healthier.  I gave him some advice on diet, cleansing, detoxing, etc.  He was very motivated and followed my instructions to the letter.  And the last time I talked to him he was doing very well and noticed a positive change in his health.  About 5 months went by and I did not here from him.  Then a mutual friend called me and said “did you here about so and so”.  I said no and she proceeded to tell me why I had not heard from him.  It seems that he had been struck by a hemorrhagic stroke that nearly killed him.  I could not believe it because the last time I saw him he was doing so well, it did not make sense.

Louie’s Ultimate Cookie

Published by under Recipes

1 cup Old fashioned oats                                 3/4 cup Quick oats

1/2 cup Almond meal                                       1/2 cup unbleached flour

3/4 cup Raisins                                                 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce

1/4 cup Honey                                                  1 large egg beaten

1 tsp. baking powder                                        1/2 tsp. baking soda

2-3 tbsp. stevia                                                 3/4 tsp. Cinnamon

1 tsp. real vanilla                                               1 tbsp. oil

* 1/4 tsp. ground Nutmeg

* 1/8 tsp. ground Cloves

* Optional

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Lightly spray baking sheet with vegetable spray.  I prefer an air-type baking sheet.  Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl, mix liquid ingredients separately with hand mixer until frothy.  Combine liquid mix with dry and mix by hand just until moistened.  Do not overmix!

Using two spoons, place on cookie sheet shaping slightly and allowing 2″ between cookies. Bake for 10 minutes.  Cookies should not brown on top.  Allow to cool.

Makes about one dozen 2 – 2 1/2″ cookies.

These cookies are chewy and moist with very little fat and sugar, making them a healthy indulgence with today’s emphasis in mind on eating lighter. To your health!
